The call of the Earth Mother

 

I am the Earth mother,

my body is covered with beauty and peace.

The rivers, the waters and all that flows,

are the veins running all over my body,

the waters are clear, shiny and precious

and within it, is flowing all my love.

The high mountains and the many valley’s

are the peaks and the lower parts of my corpse,

from the high peaks one can look all over my body

admiring it’s beauty and nature’s peace.

 

The many bright full flowers

and the fields covered with their beautiful colours,

are my gifts of everyday, to you, all mankind

to colour and brighten up every day,

and to give life it’s magic spell.

The plants and trees are my voice;

hear them whispering at night,

telling stories of long, long ago

hear them singing at day time

chanting songs of ancient wisdom and of love.

All living creatures and all mankind

are my beloved children.

My body feeds their body.

My heartbeat is their heartbeat.

My love is their love.

Oh, you mankind,

remember that to walk in harmony

means to respect the Father above,

and your Mother below.

For your Sky Father feeds your spirit

and your Earth Mother will feed your body,

and no one can live in harmony without the one and the other.

Oh, you mankind,

it’s time to return to your Mother again,

hear me calling, I am calling,

I’m calling all of you to turn home again.

When you give praises to the higher above

don’t forget to turn your praises also to me, your Mother.

Reach your hands up to the sky,

and afterwards,

kneel down low and caress me with your hands.

For I am the Mother, I am the Earth,

to all that lives I’ve given birth,

and when you’ll die

you all will return to me

and in that moment

I will embrace all of your body.

In me you will find your heartbeat.

In me you will find your own body.

In me you can find true beauty and real joy,

  And turning your contemplations towards me

  you will find the great peace you’ve been searching for.
