My feet are planted into the warm earth

My hands are reaching up to the sky

My eyes are looking beyond the zenith

My heart is calling out for you

This dance is for you, oh Brother Sun

I’m standing here, my hair un tight, naked in front of your Mighty Presence

my skin loves to be touched by your golden sunrays

I feel your warmth, I feel your light

You give me strength, you give me power

You give me the energy to continue this long road

This dance is for you, oh Brother Sun

The eagle feather in my right hand

is connecting you in spirit

The clear mountain crystal in my left hand

is connecting your light

Together they cross,

Together they flow,

Together they fly in front of your Being

My arms are like long tailed feathered wings

Opening, circling, opening, circling into the infinite sky

Brother Sun, this dance is for you

To thank you for all that you give

And for all that you have given from beginning of times

Mankind could not exist without your warmth

The earth itself could not be without your light

I honour thee, today, in this moment

because you are the Source of all Life.
